Does Allied Nationwide have a Crown guarantee?

Yes Allied Nationwide has a guarantee under the New Zealand Deposit Guarantee Scheme. Further information about this can be found at the website maintained on behalf of the treasury. www.treasury.govt.nz

What does first ranking mean?

This means that in the unlikely event of a default, the investors' claims rank ahead of all shareholders, unsecured creditors and subsequent secured lenders.

The only claims that would rank ahead of the investors are the claims of the relevant Trustee or receiver and other claims given preference by law or under the relevant Trust Deed. Ranking is subject to prior charges (if any).

Who owns Allied Nationwide Finance?

Allied Nationwide Finance is a 100% New Zealand owned company and part of the Allied Farmers group of companies.  The Allied Farmers group provides rural servicing, merchandising and finance in New Zealand.  Allied Farmers Limited is listed on the NZX.

Allied Nationwide Finance is the sole issuer of the securities offered.  These securities are not guaranteed by any other member of the Allied Farmers group of companies.

What is the minimum investment?

The minimum investment is $500. Investment amounts over $50,000 may qualify for special rates of interest. The maximum investment is at the discretion of Allied Nationwide Finance.

How does my interest get paid?

Allied Nationwide Finance offers you choice on how you prefer to have your interest paid to meet your investment goals.

1) Quarterly or monthly paid
You receive a regular income from your investment by having interest paid to you quarterly (on the last days of January, April, July and October) or monthly by direct credit.

2) Quarterly compounded
Your original investment grows by having your interest compounded and added to your investment at the end of each quarter (on the last days of January, April, July and October).

How will you keep me informed about my investments?

We will send you quarterly statements allowing you to track the status of your investments.  You will also receive information about new investment opportunities and special offers from Allied Nationwide Finance - many exclusive to existing customers.
